A little background on the Big Dutchy
Born in the Netherlands where I did a Ph.D. in Biology with a side serving of Bioinformatics, i soon found myself in the U.S. where I picked up some hobbies, such as SnowBoarding, Hang gliding and the Reno Air Races and even got my Pilot License at some point. Growing up my dad got a small sailboat and we went out on the water almost every weekend and vacation, so I think I know a thing or two about sailing so, after I had rented a small catamaran with some colleagues after AGBT15, i got the sailing bug again and was looking around for boat.
